This Infrared adapter is connected to the serial port of your PC or notebook. This enables you to communicate wirelessly with mobile phones, printers, other PC's or handhold's, or other devices, which have an infrared port. The IrDA adapter is connected to the 9 pin com-port and does not need an extra power supply.
